Expectations & Responsibilities
The performance dance team was created in response to multiple requests to perform at Basketball games and arena-type venues across the region, including Madison Square Garden. This team will prepare a select group of girls, ages 10-17, to wow major audiences with high energy, hip hop and technical performances. Age exceptions will be considered.
The “PACT” Expectations of Dancers
Dancers must be in attendance and on time to every practice.
Dancers must be present for the full duration of each practice.
Failure to meet practice expectations, for any reason, may result in the dancer’s dismissal from the team
Dancers are expected to give their best at all times in practice and during performances.
Dancers will be conditioned to improve their strength, flexibility and stamina for live performances, dancers are expected to maintain a positive attitude during conditioning.
Dancers must be respectful of teammates, coach, guests and themselves. Failure to do so will result in extended conditioning or removal from practice.
Dancers are expected to encourage, support and assist one another as needed.
Choreography & Technique
It is the dancers responsibility to learn choreography, spacing, technique and skills as they are taught. Dancers are encouraged to ask questions.
Dancers are encouraged to study new styles, skills and technique as they are introduced.
Dancers are expected to practice outside of rehearsal, on their own, as needed.
